Effects of Vimshottari dasa periods in Nifty

From June 11 to July 05 2013, Nifty is going through Rahu Dasa-Venus Bhukti- Venus Antara- Jupiter Sookshma.
I had examined some of the previous periods of Venus Antara- Jupiter Sookshma.
It looks quite interesting.....

In strong trending markets. either the Jupiter peak is formed towards the fag end of the Sookshma period or it takes place in Saturn Sookshma, which follows next.
Invariably Saturn Sookshma always gives a big decline.
When the trend is about to end, then in the middle of Jupiter Sookshma itself we see important trend reversals.A case in point, All time High of Nifty on  08 January 2008.
During flattish and downward trends, we see one or more counter trends, but is always followed by a significant decline when Saturn Sookshma begins.

Let us look at the current situation...

What do we observe?
1. Already one counter up move is complete.
2. Currently the market is in the second upmove.
3. This can last up to July 05, when Saturn Sookshma starts.
4. Post July 05, in Saturn Sookshma, we can expect a good down move.

Amazingly this fits very well with the Mercury  retro study posted earlier.
Let us commit our money, as per the ongoing trend and the keep our fingers crossed...

    1. Dear Ankitji,
I had a look myself. I was disappointed that they had chosen not to give credit to the original author of the article. I thought that was in poor taste. I have no objection to people making use of these articles- indeed it is knowledge disseminated freely, but shouldn't people be decent enough to acknowledge their source?

Thank you for pointing out. I intend to take it up with the blog people themselves.

      Warm Regards

Coming back to post..post 5th july do you expect it to fall to 5200? As per my view i don't think current rally will go beyond 5950 but am not estimate downside target.

  5. Dear Venkatesh,

After July 05 till August 03, it is Rahu Dasa-Venus Bhukthi-Venus Antara -Saturn Sookshma period. Traditionally we have seen the market falling off sharply and forming a bottom. This period also has seen recoveries coming on after the fall.

    1. Dear Garikapti,
According to my calculations, Jupiter moved into Rahu star on June 28, 2013, at 23:35:28 hours.Just Jupiter`s entry into Rahu need not mean that the markets will fall. There could be a consolidation movement is what I feel, especially after the powerful upmove seen lately.

    1. Dear Garikapti,
Rahu actually moves into SWATHI star on July 20, 2013, at 18:49 hours. Please check your Ayanamsa and coordinates. Rahu`s movement into SWATHI could lead to a crest formation. Please see my post today for details.

  8. Dear Suresh,
One more small clarification please. If we take Nifty Birth details as 12-Jun-2000 @ 9:55 at Bombay, Jupiter Sookshma will be from 29-Jun to 21-Jul. Kindly advise.

What is ur view abt "KALSARPAM"

    1. When discussing Astrology, there is no scope for bias. It is just the study of planetary influence. Can you please advise on Nifty Birth Time taken.

Kalasarpam is there till 22 Sep. Moon comes out 2 weeks every month. It can only indicate natural calamities and not sure of its effect on Stock Market.

    2. Dear Sameer,
I simply indicate what I think the chart is saying or what the stars are saying. I do not have any trading bias. I have been trading since 1990 and have seen several booms and bust by now. Let me assure you once again, I simply reflect what I think I see. Iam fully aware that I can be grossly wrong also in what I reflect. Which is why I keep asking people to pitch in their views and to correct me wherever I err.
Please see my post on Kalasarpa Yoga and market effects today.

      Warm Regards

    3. Dear Garikapti,
I fully agree with you that there is no scope for bias.In fact any study of such nature cannot have a biased approach. Regarding the birth time I am using June 12, 2000, Monday, 09:55 am.

  10. Sir,

When you say ("I was disappointed that they had chosen not to give credit to the original author"), I would like to remind you that most of the methodologies you are writing here are already used by Mr. Chaitreya Shastri for past many years and many of his posts at VFM confirms the same.
Have you ever mentioned such 'credibility' while re-producing his concepts being used in your analysis ?

  11. Dear Sanjay,

    There are some subtle differences..
    1. Shasthriji is several years my Senior. He had personally lauded and blessed my efforts when I began this blog, in the very same VFM Forum which you had referred.
    2. Shasthriji`s methods are based on KP Stellar Analysis, whereas I blend several more approaches. You may observe it in my blog posts. For KP observations both of us draw from the same stream of astro science. That is the only similarity. Let me clearly state, that one method is not superior to the other. They are just different rivers seeking the same sea.
    3. In the post pointed out by Ankitji, they have blatantly copied, chart et al and posted. I have never ever done that. Being a junior in astrology, I am drawing understanding from several learned astrology scientists. That is an accepted practice. Once again Iam not complaining about the copying. Iam posting in a public forum and so it is allowed. But giving credit to an article is only a business ethic, absence of which had made me feel disappointed.

    Thank you for your comment.

    Warm Regards

    1. Sir,
      Thanks for reply.
Few days back, Shastriji had shared an excel at VFM. That Excel gives division of lunar movements with respect to KP cusps (useful for intra-day trading). However, while surfing the other works by Shastriji at Editgrid (from where he published) and his 4shared a/c, it can be seen that he had covered almost all approaches (not only KP). There are excels related with independent planetary cycles as well some in combined such as Jup+Sat, Jup+Rahu etc. In 'astropatterns', various dasa systems and progressions were also considered for Nifty. (Most of the posts here like Mercury Retrograde and Direct Stations, Effects of Vimshottari dasa periods, Jupiter and Saturn cycles, Gold and Silver prices, I had observed many similarities........anyway, its not to hurt you by any means.)

  12. Dear Sanjay,
Like I had said, I know only of his stellar approach work.I have not come across any other treatise which he had done. Never have I claimed that Iam doing original work. I have only said Iam a person with an unusual interest in stock markets. Iam aware there may be many who had gone far ahead of me in this path. My purpose of this blog,is to simply put in my observations as I see it.Several of the observations are seen by me after quite an effort. Iam aware of many gaps in my understanding. Even today Iam struggling to find a method which can throw light on the specific stock price levels, because of an astro phenomenon. That is if a stock or an index is supposed to move high, I still do not know how high it will move, purely from an astro angle. In the process of searching, which in itself is a fascinating experience, Iam also aware that there are several people in the path behind me, who may find my posts of interest and of use. This is one more reason for my blog posts. Despite all this I strongly feel the level of research or understanding about Astro effects in Stock Markets or Financial Astrology as a whole for that matter, is pitifully less. People like Shasthriji are rare. Most people in the know keep it as a secret and do not share it. My approach so far has been to share whatever I have, in the path trodden by people like Shasthriji, so that others can improve upon the work.In the bargain as traders if we benefit, that is a bonus. Iam not after any Holy Grail. A combination of Astro and Technicals, where Astro factors act as a leading indicator- the package serving as a useful guide to trading- that is all Iam interested in.Whenever some one asks for a specific understanding I try and accommodate that request in the post, most often with illustrations. I welcome knowledge from any source. Do share Shasthriji`s file with me. Whatever understandings I get I shall add it on to the blog posts, with due credit to him of course. Having said this much I still feel it is unethical for anyone to use the toil of anyone else without giving them due recognition.

    Warm Regards

  13. Sir,
I sincerely appreciate your efforts and thankful to you for sharing. I am also a student of Astrology and working on its relativity with Stock markets.
Regarding Shastriji's works, anyone can communicate to him directly and ask for whatever is needed. (He had guided me several times as well provided many astro calculations formulated in excels)

  14. Dear Sanjay,

Thank you. I shall certainly contact Shastriji. Meanwhile can you please forward his mail id to tekkiesuresh@gmail.com? My previous contacts with him were only thro VFM.
Meanwhile please feel free to comment on my posts.
